Every two years, Youth Teams of Our Lady (YTOL) organize International Meetings for all the young people in the movement. YTOL teams come from all around the world from places such as France, Spain, Brazil, USA, Italy, Syria, Mozambique and Lebanon. These are meant to help them meet friends from across the globe, pray together, laugh together, share their faith and celebrate their faith together.

The meetings alternate between European cities and those on other continents. This summer YTOL Canada has been asked to host the 22nd International Meeting, after sending our first two YTOLer to the International Meeting in Lebanon in 1999.

* Conference Animators will need to arrive earlier for set-up and conference leadership sessions. Arrival dates for animators is July 27, 2007. Animators will be contacted individually. If you have not been contacted then we look forward to welcoming you as a YTOL delegate.
** Travel days are available at optional cost (see below) from August 06, 2007 - August 10, 2007.
*** Transportation to and from airports, bus terminals and train station to the location of the international meeting are the responsibility of the delegates.

To register please download the IM 2007 Registration Form (below), print it out, fill out the required information and fax or email it to the contact information provided on the form. Registration will be accepted on a first come first serve basis - So get your forms in early !

If you are not sure whether you will be able to come to the IM2007, send in a form anyways so that we can reserve a spot for you until you make your decision. Let us Know.

Conference Payment Schedule:

Once you have registered above, we will need to receive payments according to the payment schedule given below. If payments are not received on or before the due date of each payment due date, then registration may be CANCELLED.

All payments MUST be made online via Credit Card or a PayPal Account. All major Credit Cards are accepted ( Visa, MasterCard, American Express). This form of payment is fast, secure & free (no transfer charges!).

Registration form MUST be completed and signed in order to attend the IM2007, independent of the payment schedule. You may guarantee your place at the conference by proceeding with "Conference Payment 1" (below)

Paying on behalf of another delegate - Please include the delegates full name and email address in the "Additional Notes" text box during the payment process. This way we will know that the payment is for another delegate.

Paying for more than one delegate - Please make each payment separately, as this ensures that the appropriate payment is assigned to the appropriate delegate. Each delegate MUST fill out a registration form. This will ensure that we have registered, and assigned payment correctly.

Limited Liability, Medical Insurance & Refunds:

Limited Liability :YTOL Canada assumes limited liability for the duration of the delegates at the conference. Each delegate is required to read and understand, and sign the IM 2007 Liability Waiver Form. This form MUST be received by YTOL Canada prior to the delegate arriving in Canada. All instructions are available with the form, available to download above.

Medical Travelers Insurance: This is the responsibility of each delegate, and should be completed before arriving to the conference. This is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended, since YTOL assumes no responsibility for personal medical needs.

Online Payment Refunds: Conference Payment 1 is non-refundable. Conference Payment 2 and Conference Payment 3 are refundable up to June 15, 2007. A written request is required.

Travel Visa Information:

USA, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy: If you are a delegate traveling from these countries, then you need to do not need a travel visa to enter Canada, only a valid Passport.. Please reference the following documents for a detailed explanation.

Brazil, Syria & Lebanon: If you are a delegate traveling from these countries, then you need to a travel visa to enter Canada. Please reference the following document for a detailed explanation.

Who can attend the meeting?
As this is a time for YTOLers from around the world to pray, laugh, share and celebrate their faith, the International Meeting is for current YTOL members. Others may only attend if invited by the YTOL International Secretariat.

What are the dates and who chooses them?
The International Secretariat chooses the date of the International Meeting (IM). They are as follows:
Animation Team Dates: July 27, 2007 (arrival) - August 06, 2007 (departure)
YTOL Delegates Dates: July 30, 2007 (arrival) - August 06, 2007 (departure)
Organized Tourist Dates: Aug 06, 2007 (arrival) - August 11, 2007 (departure)

Where is it being held?

The Cost?
The cost of the conference is $375 Canadian dollars. Payments should be made online through pay pal via the YTOL site (http://www.ytol.org/index_IM_2007.html)

Tourism?
We will be sightseeing Ottawa as part of the conference package. We have also created an additional tourism package for those wishing to see a little bit more of Canada. This package is OPTIONAL. The itinerary is found above under ‘Tourism Details’. The cost of this package is $ 275.35. This package includes: sightseeing Montreal, Toronto, Niagara Falls and a trip to the beach. Please note *** this price can change depending on the number of people registering for the tourism package***

Where should I fly to?
If you are flying from Europe, the closest international airport is located in Montreal in the province of Quebec. It’s approximately a 2-3 hour drive from Montreal to Ottawa. You are responsible for your own transportation to Ottawa for the international meeting.
The tourism package ends in Toronto, Ontario. It would be most convenient for you to fly into Montreal and fly out of Toronto. It is approximately a 6 hour drive from Montreal to Toronto.
We are not responsible for getting your from Toronto to Montreal.

What happens at an IM?
This is a time of for young people from around the world to pray, laugh, share and celebrate their faith. The program includes conference, Mass, witnesses, Adorations, as well as games and other fun activities. A programming schedule is also available under the ‘Program’ heading above. Keep on checking the web site for more updates on activities and special guests.
