We invite All Young Adult YTOLers to the May Retreat! Starting this year YTOLers gather from both the Young Adults teams and practicing Catholics not yet in YTOL to retreat together for the weekend. 2008-28-04 – May All Night Adoration
We invite all YTOLers to the All Night Adoration at St. Joseph’s Church in Fergus Ontario! Twice a year YTOLers gather from both the Young Adults and High School Teams to join in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration begins at 8:00 pm on Friday May 9th and ends at 8:00 am on Saturday May 10th. We welcome family and friends and parishioners to join us in our celebration for God. 2008-28-04 – March Break Retreats
This year's March break featured two retreats organized in the Melrose Retreat Centre (London) and the Scouts Canada Camp in Acton (near Guelph Ontario). As with every retreat at the High School Level, both retreats were very well attended focusing on new YTOLers as well as youths that have been in the movement for many years. A big WELCOME to all the new YTOLers from the Acton retreat that will be joining city teams in the next few weeks.
2008-28-04 – Animator Retreat
A big thank you for all the efforts by the organizers of the February Animator Retreat. The retreat was well organized and truly uplifting. Animators from our Canadian teams got to speak to YTOLers from Lebanon, celebrate Mass and Adoration together and learn from each others experiences. Keeping in our prayers all the Canadian and International YTOL teams.
2008-28-04 – Passing of a Beloved Priest
During this season of Lent, we prepare our minds and hearts for the coming of Jesus. As a movement we support each other with the struggles and challenges in our lives. YTOLers in Canada have been saddened with the passing of our beloved Priest Father Stan Kowal on February 12th. Father Stan worked with YTOL in Ottawa with a loving heart. Remembered and missed, together we pray for his eternal joy.
2008-28-04 – National Responsibles Meeting
Canada was represented this year at the Responsibles meeting by Ania Straszak and Diana Bielec. The meeting was in Seville, Spain for a weekend in January. The experience left them excited to work towards bringing our international movement closer to each other, our brothers and sisters in Christ from around the world and with our neighbours and communities.

2007-09-01 – Welcome Ancaster!
Our YTOL community has grown and this September has reached Ancaster. A High School open team is now being held at St.Ann’s Church in Ancaster with the help and support of Father Wojtek Kuzma. Meetings take place every last Friday of the month at 7:00pm in the church hall. Social events are held very second weekend also at the parish hall. Thank you for all those who have shown an interest and we appreciate prayers for the continued growth and strength of this new team.

2007-05-05 - One Quarter
Fundraising almost hits the 1/4 mark with $4,300 having been raised through a combination of bakes sales, discount book sales, personal and corporate donations. Our goal is to raise $20,000 before the first ever International Meeting 2007 (IM2007) in Ottawa, Canada. This celebration will see 200 international youth explore the topic "My Soul Magnifies the Lord". Read more about the IM2007.

All YTOLers are invited to the May Ceremony ! Every year YTOLers gather from both the Young Adults and High School Teams to retreat together for the weekend to celebrate the Month of Mary. A weekend retreat allows for a renewed commitement to Christ for the upcoming summer.
2007-04-27 - Taize Montreal 2007
YTOLers participate in the Taize retreat weekend in Montreal with over 1,000 youth from all over north America to explore the weekend topic "Leaving Discouragement Behind - Finding New Hope". It was a time to reflect, to sing and to reunite with like minded youth sharing the light of Christ. Sunday featured a great mass at the McGill Campus Newman centre.

2007-01-01 - New Year's Retreat
This year's retreat saw 25 young adults spend an invigorating 5 days at the Teopoli property north of Barrie Ontario. Highlights included; the Jesus The Listener shrine, the story of Sr. Carmelina Tarantino of the Cross, and a candle lit new years eve procession of the Blessed Sacrament to an alter overlooking a waterfall. A tremendous thanks to Father Claudio, Father Cull and all of the staff ! An indescribable journey of faith, hope and friendship.

All of the Team animators gathered at St. Agnes Parish in Waterloo for a 2 day retreat on the YTOL meeting structure, the responsibilities of their leadership role, and how " YTOL Helps Young People Learn to Love Mary"
