Young Adults New Year's Retreat 2007

Dear Young Catholics !

From December 27, 2007 to January 1, 2008, at Teopoli (please see attached map), there will be a retreat for young adults organized and led by the Catholic youth movement of Youth Teams of Our Lady. Are you interested?

Give the following a careful read-through. This youthful gathering is a perfect way to start off the new year. Our host Father Claudio, who owns Teapoli will spend some time passing on his wisdom and experiences. We will also be joined by Father Cull who will inspire us through the teachings of our Pope Benedict the 16th.

A retreat is meant to be a time of prayer, a time spent in communion with God. Please use items like cell phones, walkmans, CD players, computer or books on your spare time. If you bring any of these items, respect others around you and know that YTOL is not responsible if they are lost. Possession of drugs and alcohol in the building or on the grounds of Teopoli is strictly forbidden.

Please bring only the following: a sleeping bag (a MUST-bedding costs are extra), warm clothing, shoes you can wear indoors, outdoor shoes, warm hat and gloves, personal hygiene stuff, as well as a Bible, Rosary, pens and paper.

You must be a practicing catholic in order to participate in this retreat. Also keep in mind that as a retreat participant, you will be expected to take part in the entire retreat program. If you won’t participate, you will be asked to go home. Great Italian meals will be prepared right at the retreat home, so you don’t need to bring food. You must eat three meals a day (no dieting on retreat!).

Participant ARRIVAL: December 27 at 3:00 pm (Mass at 4:00pm)
Animator & Participant DEPARTURE: January 1st 2008 by 3:00pm

Cost: $200 per person (Retreat includes; accommodations, food & all activity expenses)
